Call D.A. Lamont Public Adjusters as soon as you suspect your property may have suffered damage. After speaking with our experts about your concerns, you will sign a contract that assigns D.A. Lamont as your representative throughout your claims process.

Policy review
We will conduct a thorough examination of your policy coverage in order to determine what type of coverage you have and the kinds of damage that are covered within your policy.

We file the claim for you
Filing a claim can be confusing and complex. This is why we do it for you. As your public adjuster, we handle all communication with your insurance carrier so that you can focus on running your business.

Create the claim file
Our team will create a claim file containing documents such as your policy at the time of loss, a weather report and a Roof CAD of your property. It will also include any records of previous Baseline Roof Assessments that state the roof condition preceding the event.

Complete inspections and investigations
Once a claim is filed, the insurance carrier will assign their own adjuster to the case. We will meet on-site with the carrier’s adjuster, along with a certified engineer if necessary, to inspect the property damage and compare our findings.

Create the estimate and reports
Using all of the information in the claim file, our experts will create an estimate of your loss. A Signed Statement in the Proof of Loss will then be submitted to your insurance company.

We negotiate with the carrier
It is common for an insurance company to negotiate on the estimate of loss. We handle all negotiations with your insurance carrier and prove all of our findings using expert knowledge and years of experience in assessing storm damage.

Settle your claim
Finally, we settle your claim and get you the payment you deserve. There are no upfront costs and we don’t get paid until YOU get paid.
